Description about the school
Pierce College is a government-run, two-year community college, located in Washington State. We are ranked in the top 5% of American community colleges and are fully accredited, by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Established in 1967, Pierce has two campuses located in the safe and friendly communities of Lakewood and Puyallup, both just forty-five minutes south of Seattle. Providing a high-quality university-level education at a reasonable cost, Pierce offers a wide range of programs. Students may complete the first two years of university study, earn an Associate’s Degree, and then transfer to a university to complete their Bachelor's degree, or they can choose from a variety of one- and two-year professional-technical certificate programs. Our High School Completion Program enables students to earn a high school diploma and university transfer credits at the same time. We also have an outstanding Intensive English (ESL) Program.
