Founded in 1869, Claflin University has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report, Forbes.com, and Washington Monthly as one of America’s best liberal arts colleges. Claflin is located in the southeastern state of South Carolina, and enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students from all regions of the United States and 21 other countries. The University offers 35 undergraduate majors, as well as Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Biotechnology degrees. In the fall of 2014, Claflin began offering online degree programs in criminal justice, organizational management, and the MBA.
